I didn’t give a wit about new pope coverage, but the first American pope being a man with Black ancestry born in Chicago by way of New Orleans by way of Haiti. Names his self after the pope who condemned slavery? In the Trump era? Oh, baebae, I am HERE for it.

Pope Leo XIV's grandparents were 7th Ward Creoles
The newly elected pontiff, born in Chicago, has ancestral ties to the city’s historic Seventh Ward, according to genealogists at The Historic New Orleans Collection.

Yo! Shoutout to AOC & Bernie for leading by example — showing up, speaking truth & organizing w/the people, not just talking at them from D.C.

We need that same energy from all Dems. Whether it’s 35,000 or 35 people — show up. Hit the streets, hit the town halls, show you’re ready to fight for us.

Trudeau: I want to speak first directly to the American people… your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items…

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Good morning and Happy Tuesday to everyone who agrees that President Carter was the kind of man who lived an exemplary life as a Christian, doing good for others, while others just hurt people and sell expensive Bibles.

In a world of Felon 47s, be a Jimmy Carter.🙏

Just spent a great week in Cuba. Everyone was wondering what Marco Rubio as Secretary of State could mean for their government. The number of visitors to Cuba has declined in recent years. It’s a beautiful place—music & art abounds and they desperately need tourism $$. I highly recommend visiting.

I’m still stunned and demoralized by how many people didn’t even bother to vote this year: an estimated 89 million Americans, or about 36% of the country’s voting-eligible population, did not vote in the 2024 general election.

Maybe we would have had a different presidential outcome if everyone just shopped at Trader Joe’s.

Feeling like a new kid in town. Hello Blue Sky folks! Love the image of a whole new sunny day amid the darkness that has settled on us since the election. Glad for something to turn to that has no connection to Elon.
