I think Alexander Salby deserves an honourable mention - he might only have won at lower levels, but 9 wins in a season is still pretty good!

Teams closing down is something pretty unique to cycling, I think, and a lot of very good riders cannot even compete at the level they should be next year. Sometimes I hate the business model that they call proffesional cycling...

Feel for Meurisse too - he was at the very last stretch of the gravel when he punctured. I dislike gravel of any quality in road races. I wouldn't go on that path if I was on my road bike. I would love to ride it on my gravel bike - but it's just a different discipline if you ask me.
