Not to say that I won't be talking about just about anything I feel like, though...
Last day of the season and with Ceratizit closing their team, I had a look at their riders. Some has secured nice contracts, but most are still out of a job as far as we know. How can we have a pro sport and no-one has a spot for Sandra Alonso? Or Mylène de Zoete? Or... you get the point.

When your first pro win is the last .pro-race of the last season of the 3-year cycle where you really need the points, you have timed your form to perfection. Congratulations, Sakarias, and congratulations Uno-X 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

A well-deserved pro contract for one of the strongest women in the peloton! 💪🤩

What a journey it has been for Sigrid! We’re so excited about this next step for her, and can’t wait to follow and cheer her on in the future! 🎉🤝

Pogačar's #iLombardia win was UAE's 87th victory this year (not counting championships) from 284 race days (with 10 race days still to come).
But that pales in comparison to SD Worx' 2023 season: 53 victories from 73 race days!

Honestly, looking at the riders in this group 2, it will be almost absurd if they cannot catch a solo rider, even if that rider is called Tadej Pogacar...

Count Mags out. She’ll make it count. 🫶🌈

What an absolute dream day.

I went for a 2-hour ride, hoping Tadej wouldn't attack too early. I'll never learn, will I?

That shot of the rider from Sierra Leone who just abandoned says a lot: He looked like he just did the effort of his life (he probably did) but he cannot even hang on at this speed...

Abandon Alaphilippe (according to PCS) - not what I was expecting this early...

Juanpe to Movistar. Makes sense, but I still feel like he belongs on Lidl-Trek...

There are so many unpredictable things in #LaVuelta25 that I propose an even shorter iTT for tomorrow, just to be able to have a 3rd week prologue! I'm pretty confident that would be a first...

Bernal took 4 minutes today. He's less than 10 minutes back. My math says that 3 more days and Bernal will be in red! 🤩❤️

I make that 18 wins for Lorena Wiebes this year. 14 of those are WT-level. It's starting to become an understatement calling her the fastest woman in the peloton - she just doesn't have any real competition. I like watching greatness unfold, but even though I'm a fan it's also getting a bit boring 🥱
Lorena Wiebes wins the opening stage of the 2025 Simac Ladies Tour!

The predicted outcome but Lidl-Trek rolled the dice today with rolling attacks to thin out the SD Worx train successfully but she's still too strong

Sometimes I wonder if I should take up gambling...
Segaert or Söderquist would be my top candidates to beat Mads here. Outsider: Double up from Wærenskjold🧨

It's not often that I watch cycling on DR. And based on what I have seen of the Tour of Denmark so far, it is not often that Henrik Liniger watches cycling. Period.

I was on a flat road along the coast when my Garmin beeped, said "Climb!" and informed that the upcoming 616m had an elevation gain of more than 12500m. I'm not sure, I really trust that Climb Pro feature... 😵‍💫
