The oath I swore 30+ years ago was to The Constitution first, President second. If the President is in violation of the Constitution their orders are unlawful and not to be obeyed. WE THE PEOPLE! The president serves US, we don’t serve them.

I had a compound miter glue up recently that would’ve been a complete pain to clamp. I tried Fastcap’s FASTenon and it worked amazingly well. Of course, having a Domino helps but you can use a router to make the mortises. If you have more to do might be worth checking out.
