Poet. I love moss, mudlarking and broken things. Proud to be Northern, non-binary and neurodivergent.
Quokkas are small Australian marsupials which live on just a few tiny islands, including Rottnest. Here's my latest Substack about quokkas, me and my sister, and a poem from Cath Drake.

Peter Riley is a quietly defining force in British poetry. It amazes me that he lives among us in Hebden Bridge. Peter now lives with Parkinson's and I feel so privileged he has asked me to read his work alongside him on November 4th at the Dusty Miller in Mytholmroyd. It’ll be a wonderful night.

My final Substack post of our Coast to Coast. Finches, the pain of one journey's end, and the start of new journeys. Thanks for walking with me. I didn't know how big and beautiful this path could be.
