Remembering with gratitude a wonderful invitation from President Michael D Higgins to us at Irish Seedsavers in 2012 to Áras an Uachtarán. Complete with guided tour from head gardeners of the organic vegetable gardens, orchards, poultry and beehives. A great legacy to pass on to a likeminded soul💚🌱

This excellent interview bears witness to similarities b/w the Holocaust & genocide of Palestinians now. It reminded me of a solemn visit to Dachau in 1990s to pay respect to those 41,500 people murdered there who must always be remembered &honoured.
The inscription on the plaque is important

Glad that my PhD research findings were heard in the High Court in Kenya yesterday when Law Society of Kenya used them in appeal of Seed Act 2012, to decriminalise seed practices of Kenya's smallholder farmers. Their robust seeds are their best buffer against hunger #bravefarmers #seedsovereignty
