When I first started courtin' @blowdrierbettie.bsky.social she once mentioned to me that Black & Blue was one her favorite Stones album. It has historically been a Stones album fans complain about. Then and there I realized she was the right girl for me to be a'courtin'.

PS37, the popular event space in Durham's Central Park district, will close at the end of 2025.

"We never really intended to be an event space, it just became that organically. It felt like we were figuring out how to fly the plane while it was in the air."

"Micky Dolenz Announces ’60 Years of The Monkees’ Celebration Tour."

What to expect

•Mickey wears a hat
•Mickey leaves the stage and comes back out wearing a wool cap
•The stage goes dark, the lights come back on and Mickey is in a wig on a small stage set that resembles a pop art Dorf skit.

Not judging any of you but, really, there's much more better things that sound like Geese than whatever Geese are trying to sound like.

While Quaranta was a good album, it seemed a little step down from some of the Danny Brown records that proceeded it. Though I've only been able to give the new one, Stardust, a quick listen today, it sounds at least a step back up. The dude does what he wants whether people "get it" on not.

I've listened to this New Eves record a bit over the past few months. I still haven't figured out if they're a cult, a coven or a convincing concept to make the listener wonder if they're either.

Kleenex/LiLiPUT, the Raincoats and maybe that one Coco Rosie that was distro'd through SubPop?
