I have just had a conversation with my 85 year old father-in-law about "stopping the boats"
It may take me DAYS to process it.
In a nutshell, and all seriousness....
Deploy destroyers to patrol the channel.
Tell small boats to turn back.
If the don't, steer into them and capsize them.

I was driving along today when the battery warning light suddenly came on. 2 minutes later all the lights on the dash started pinging and flashing. Then I lost power steering and braking.
I was really bloomin scared.
Upshot - it needs a new alternator....£750.
On top of Stan's £950 teeth. Super!

Whilst we were at work the dog walker took Rafa for a run around with some buddies. Someone got the better end of the deal 🤔

The horrid old door has gone. A gentle shove would have been all that was needed to break in. This new one is like a vault door!

The menopause came through for me today.....
To rewind, we've been discussing whether to spend £200 on a bio wash for the roof.
Today the roofers dumped loads of moss straight on to my new garden chairs. I went outside, saw it,and burst into tears. (Awkward silence)
Upshot - getting free roof wash 🤣

We couldn't find the animals. They had snuck off and gone to sleep on the spare bed. This is the first time in 3 years this has ever happened. How lovely. They are quite a distance apart but Rafa is being brave ❤️

We have been to the kitchen planners. The extension is yet to be built but the kitchen is sorted 😂 it wont be quite so lime green, more the shade of the second door picture. Bish. Bash. Bosh.

Stan is much better today. Starting to be more like his normal cheeky self. The pain meds knock him off his paws, but he needs the rest.
He now only has 3 teeth left bless him.

Stan is back from the vets. Four teeth out, full heart scan, bloods taken, claws trimmed. Poor boy is in some pain but has had soup, a wee and a poo. So things look ok
