Slowly, slowly getting there. Then blank space on the left of the kitchen wall cabinet is for a couple of scaffold shelves - they will have cookery books and plants on. The light will also be in the ceiling 😂

The kitchen installation has started 🥳
The flooring may be a.bit of an issue. We thought it was large pieces of herringbone style wood that slots together. Turns out it is individual pieces. The flooring guy STARED at us and said nothing. I'm guessing it will cost twice as much to fit! 🙄

Renovation update. All the walls are now down and steels are in. By the end of next week it will all be done. The bedroom extension is also lovely.

We have settled in to the Travelodge. Stan has adapted well and is snoozing. Rafa is at her daycare/kennels. The builders are busy. All is ok (renovationwise, less so globally!!)
