Sounds like fodmaps to me! Are you sensitive to anything else? There's definitely a genetic component to it in my family since my father is sensitive to most fodmaps. Thankfully I'm still good on the fruit side but legumes and lactose and I'm in agony.

Hi Mari, thanks for the offer to support us but I'd like to stay anonymous here for the time being.

Good question. I am suspicious of the narrative that immigration is a serious detriment to this country and would like to see real proof of that. I'm also suspicious that the only reason it's being brought up now by the Liberal government is that it's a talking point that is resonating with voters.

Not exactly, I don't want to go into too much detail here as this is my personal account. But we source from an ever changing list of suppliers from all parts of the US. You make a good point though, affected businesses need to say something to their elected officials. Put pressure on.

Yeah, it's an environment that kills small business and limits options. And raises prices on anything big business sells. I'm hoping it's just a really shitty bargaining tactic from the "worlds best negotiator" but even that is causing us and others to change and shift away from the US.

We do as much as possible of course and are trying more. That part we can probably survive. But when 90% of our sales are in the US, it's hard to make up for that elsewhere. Though we're going to try of course.

Time to batten down the hatches. A storm is coming.

Alarm clock, they are late. Bath towels, can't dry. Coffee filters, can't caffeinate. Battery from car keys, can't drive to work. Wi-Fi router antennas, can't connect.
Computer mice/console controllers, can't game. All the bag clips in the kitchen. And the insoles of their shoes.

As a business owner in Canada that relies on importing goods from the US to manufacture a product whose main customers are back in the US, a trade war might kill my business. So that means I will no longer be buying products from the States and no longer able to sell a quality NA made product back.

Racism/sexism/discrimination are all manufactured and propagated to keep people divided. It's not good for anyone to embrace these ideas. We have to remember that these ideas aren't starting with them and aren't being encouraged by them. Anger creates polarization. Empathy creates understanding.

It's really good! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Is it the graphic audio version? I absolutely love what they did with it. The voice acting and effects are superb.

Apt name

Yup, and considering the state of the world. Conflict and climate change. The number of refugees seeking shelter in safer countries will be increasing over time. It would be better to come up with policies that welcome them and make good use of them rather than simply shutting the door.

Absolutely. If housing wasn't seen as an investment then housing would be more affordable. Look at places like Barcelona that have a large percentage of public housing. That keeps their prices low, options high, and forces landlords to compete price wise or offer real value for higher rents.

Clearer wouldn't be a good descriptor. But less bad distortion and reproduction errors and more good distortion (even harmonics that add to the sound). Tube amplifiers work in an analog environment, the same as natural sound waves and so are best suited to aid in reproducing them.

Less limited than many people realize! Tubes were used as amplifiers, transmitters, rectifiers, electronic switches, digital memory, displays, logic circuits, light/radiation detectors, and to generate microwaves and x-rays. They are still the best option for some tasks today, including great sound.
