The danger is that if Al Jaber, CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Group and COP28 President, is allowed to get away with opposing, diverting or even sabotaging a global agreement to urgently phaseout all fossil fuels, then it sets a precedent for Big Oil to follow at COP29, COP30 and beyond.

Bluesky is a bit cluncky but I am enjoying posts from people who were hidden on Twitter for some time. Also noticed the range of accounts in the last few weeks in on "the other one" was a lot fewer than before. Sadly no DM facility as yet but certainly a sight better. Great to be on here!
