As we celebrate Learning Disability Week, we were treated to wonderful performance from the choir at Glenveagh Special School who opened our RCN NI CAMHS and Learning Disability Networks joint event today. Thanks to all of our presenters, to the staff and pupils at Glenveagh & everyone who attended.

The RCN Northern Ireland History Network paid a visit to the Ulster Museum yesterday to hear more about nursing artefacts the Museum holds and Matron Musson's medals. Anne Musson was Matron of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast from 1922 until 1946. She had served in World War 1 in France.

We've written to the Health Secretary Wes Streeting MP, and NHS England calling for an end to treating patients in unsafe spaces. Bringing together a coalition of health care orgs we're demanding transparent reporting and an end to this unacceptable practice.
