Timeline cleanse? Been a while since we had a panicked, last-minute quest to buy supplies for a school project. Still pondering why Walgreens has an entire wall devoted to 70-ct bags of cotton balls.

The house on the right? Ours. Our 9 yo's close friend witnessed this kidnapping yesterday and was as distraught as you could imagine. ICE is trying to scare us; heartbreakingly, they have succeeded in scaring our kids. The rest of us are angry and determined to keep our community safe.

Thrilled to see the footage of the huge crowds in Chicago...had to keep it local today but was glad to join a diverse crowd of thousands and thousands of neighbors in Oak Park. Tried to start some chants which deeply mortified N, but she was a good sport and knows this is an important day. #nokings

Too damn close to home, literally. Today they were outside the EMERGENCY ROOM of our hospital, .75 miles from us, forcing their way inside after threatening staff with tasers. Making contingency plans with the kind woman who cleans our home. Constant helicopters overhead. This is reality now. 🚫🧊

A few scenes from today's anti-Trump action coordinated by @indivisiblechicago.bsky.social. Good to hear from and stand with a number of the TX legislators breaking quorum and fighting back. Quite a lot of supportive folks cheering on the marchers from Millennium Park to Federal Plaza.
