Saw Frankenstein today and Guillermo truly never lets us down, it was amazing. Reminded me in every moment of the transcendence of the book (I love the book) and everyone was wonderful in it and the visuals are gorgeous.

in 3 days I finished All of Us Murderers AND Copper Script. Copper Script was def my fave, Joel & Aaron have great chemistry (Aaron definitely a KJ archetype special: Big Good Man). Murderers was fun but I didn't connect with Zeb & Gareth as much, I felt like KJ maybe wanted the book to be longer

Because im a lunatic i voluntarily paid to work out nonstop for two days at a hockey camp and i DO feel like i have been tenderised into a fine pulp but also very proud of my progress as a hockey player and full of good exercise endorphins and great community in this sport 😍

You Dreamed Of Empires was really really good. Tense political thriller, atmospheric & beautiful. Included only once where the author turned and looked at camera to tell me colonisation was bad (this is a win for a postcolonial novel they all do this at some point). Highly recommend! Also short!
