How can a user be capital R responsible for an agent they do not explicitly control or cannot vouch for?

I'm not an Amazon stan but also think that Perplexity hiding behind the figleaf of the agent working at the behest of the customer will not be enough. For example, for fair use there are only so many things a single user browsing a site can do at any one time whereas an agent can keep going.

No surprises here. My learning from their significant achievement is that less could be more and more folk outside Silicon Valley need to explore options for LLMs. If DeepSeek did it then there are other companies out there that can bring a solid product to market without having to spend £Bs.
