The even more unbelievable crime fact (which I learned relatively recently) is that burglary has fallen by more than 90% since the 1990s.

Not extremely online enough to have understood any of the references, but it is interesting that literally the only news outlet that I've seen report the meanings and understand them is The Verge!

Derek is always brilliant but this is a surprisingly great thread about wealth and patronage and support for the arts and only a little bit about rich men wearing bad suits.
Any time I talk about a wealthy person's outfit, someone in the comments is quick to reply: "They're rich, you think they care?" No one has to care about my opinions or clothes, regardless of net worth.
