Same. This is not where I look for fights — or even for perfectly civil debates. I have other places to find all that! This place, for me, is primarily for learning about things I find interesting, sharing stuff I think is cool, and connecting with people in worthwhile ways.
Since a page is about to turn, I'll just say that I have less patience than I once did for unnecessary fights or with spending time here with people looking for them. If that's your thing, fine--everyone blows off steam in different ways. But I'm not here for that.

It’s a strange kind of grief knowing that if the clock app ban goes ahead in the US this weekend then my life will change massively, as the people I have followed, learnt from, been challenged by and laughed with for the last 5 years on a daily basis are suddenly gone.
I’m going to miss this.

With this TikTok ban…I’ve actually learned so much about my data. If it’s not safe for people we don’t know to have our data. I think we should take their word for it….and execute the first AND largest #datastrike in history. Maybe nobody should have our data.
