My niece and I were at the dig at Ystrad Fflur this summer. I made her look for his grave. We were also trying to find the grave of John Jones of Brynhope. I like a challenge!

Incredible find. None of my ancestors had surviving headstones. This is my step 2x great grandmother, Martha Stokes. She married George Clark in 1862 in Oatlands, Tasmania & was buried in St Peter’s, Oatlands in 1884.

I’ve reached #familyhistory boss level. I’m in Tasmania on holiday and managed to find the site of the probation station my (step) 2 x great grandfather was sent to. I’m buzzing!
