Mark Sanford extramarital affair From June 18 until June 24, 2009, Republican South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford's whereabouts were unknown and the media covered what was described as his disappearance. Subsequently, Sanford reappeared and admitted that he had been in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair. He stated that in 2001, he met and became friends with this woman and that they started having a sexual relationship in 2008. His wife, Jenny Sanford, became aware of the relationship in January 2009, and it was later revealed that two weeks prior to June 24, Sanford and his wife had begun a trial separation. The woman was later identified as Maria Belén Chapur, an Argentine journalist. Facebook is a rage factory. I peek in occasionally for work/family. W/in 5 min I’m reminded why I hate it. Even businesses/organizations I somewhat respect engage rage-baiting to get the algorithm to boost their other content. These two posts from Outdoor Mag were nearly back to back in my feed.

If anyone in Tallahassee wants to see the aurora tonight, I highly recommend Millers Landing on the east side of Lake Jackson. We had great viewing from there during the last event. I can’t make it there tonight, but here’s the view from our back deck.

I was working on my laptop while my pneumatic leg pump was doing its thing this morning. When the cycle ended, I was momentarily confused why my legs still felt like they were under pressure…

New Cat Update:
Major milestone tonight. All three cats are currently in bed together at the same time, mostly relaxed. Started with some shared Churu amidst lots of nom-growl-nom-growl. But everyone seems to have settled down post-Churu.

The SNAP Contingency Fund Dispute Congress set aside between $5-6 billion in a SNAP contingency reserve fund. This money was set aside for emergencies. Separate USDA funds can also be used for miscellaneous and general expenses, including during emergencies. (7 U.S. Code § 2257 (2025).)

Huge milestone today in the new car saga. Fred and Rainy are currently occupying the bed at the same time without hissing or going after each other. Both are fairly relaxed. (Pretty sure Stormy is still hiding under the bed.)

I had to look it up. It was originally introduced as Coke Zero in 2005 but has been reformulated twice and is now called Coke Zero Sugar. The word Coke or Coca-Cola on the label is always in a different and larger font printed above the words Zero Sugar.

I was looking at storm surge potential yesterday and Black River was one of the most prone locations on the island.
