Looks like people on Graduate visas (no sponsorship required) who expected to transition onto a sponsored Skilled Worker visa, but now the job they do is no longer sponsorable. Also an issue for dental hygienists and prison officers.

On 4 November, the Home Affairs Committee met with the Migration Advisory Committee to discuss the proposed changes to ILR. They brought up some very interesting points.
