Don't say much but when I do it's possibly laced with nonsense.

Congrats, amazing result! Some amazing feats from smaller Scottish clubs in past decade or so, yourselves, Caley, Ross Co and St J spring to mind, great to see.

Eurovision is a project of rich white Europeans. It makes absolutely no difference to Palestine, obviously. What makes a difference is pressurising governments to stop a genocide. Wasting resource on Eurovision is juvenile politics at best, the greens need to do much, much better.

I've been protesting for the people of Palestinian for many, many years. No one cares about a Eurovision contest, it makes no difference to the people of Palestine and is of no concern to anyone apart from a rich white European class. It's embarrassing to spend time on it as a serious cause.

Eurovision? Cmon greens, please do better than this nonsense. This isn't politics.

Looks like about to use the dark Tony Blair neoliberal project to massively roll back on climate change too.

We are talking about the UK economy, it's been contracting for a long, long time. The government could have taken measures to counter act but hasn't. Trumps tarrifs make little difference to that. So to claim tarrifs are to blame for the UK economy being the way it is, is nonsense.

Wait a minute, how is trumps tarrifs having that big an effect when we are the importers? Smells like another excuse for UK government failure. First it was COVID, then the Ukraine war and now Trumps tariffs.

You'd have to live under a shell to have not experienced either the media bias and spin against the Scottish independence movement or the Jeremy Corbyn wing of the Labour party. Both movements massively youth and class orientated, both smashed by the establishment media and political cabal.

Pandering to land owners and rich rural interests is one of the key reasons I can't vote SNP. Fergus Ewing, Wishart etc, they are in the pockets of the rich lairds and land owners.

Both parties of neoliberalism. Only one party pretends they are a party of the working class, while destroying the working class.

It's daft to make your bed on this issue. The centrists just had genocide Joe ffs....
March 31, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Agree but I still wonder why @georgemonbiot.bsky.social and others campaigned to elect a Labour party that was by definition of what it was setting out, neoliberal.

SSP are always out on the street here. Definitely makes a difference. Plus If you regard yourself on the left of politics then only two choices are Green or SSP.
