A government could be funded by another government to annihilate an entire group of people not enough for us to all be concerned, loudly? Are many silent because they can not feel the hunger, the rumbles, or the hear from here or do they simply feel helpless?

I can not help but wonder how people would have responded if they could have witnessed through video and photo in real time The Transatlantic Slave Trade, Trail of Tears, or the Holocaust- would they be silent, would they feel helpless, would they speak up? Would they justify it?

Silence is the only thing keeping you “free”. The danger is in believing the lie for long enough to become susceptible to the truth. We are not free- we are just in different parts of the same camp- waiting in line.

If you hide or feel you have to, if the threat of imprisonment, retaliation, or even death is the outcome of fighting against injustice is a plausible outcome- then there is no way to believe that is a system which is free or liberated.

If you exist in a place where you are not free to speak, free to think, free to exist, free to believe, a place where you are forced to labor, subverted to a ruling class, forced to marry or remain married, forced to have children, too afraid to fight back out of fear.
