Andrej Karpathy, one of the technical founders of OpenAI and the progenitor of "vibe coding", low-key mentions that his weapon of choice is Anthropic's Claude 4.5 Opus.

(No judgement, just an interesting observation.)

When I was a kid, I loved taking things apart to understand how they worked. My parents (bless them) encouraged me by picking up old electronics at flea markets to encourage my curiosity.

This explainer scratches that itchy part of my brain!

Palestinians deserve human rights.
It’s official: AIPAC is trying to buy my election to keep me out of Congress.

Apparently, I’m a “dangerous detractor”... by believing Palestinians (like myself and my family) deserve basic human rights.

But we’re not going to let AIPAC win.

There is only one good surveillance app and it’s the Merlin bird app.
This is like deep buzzkill / privacy lecture behavior of me, but using face rec / crowdsourcing doxing investigations on totally random people doing absolutely nothing has become extremely popular and normalized on TikTok and it's really very bad

I'm not mad about this.

I remember when antitrust law prevented studios from owning theaters. It was a good idea at the time, but... times have changed.

Theaters are no longer the way most people watch movies.

I love movie theaters and I'm fine with corporate largess keeping the experience alive.

Daaaaamn. I rarely see this kind of shade thrown by career journalists. It's a beautiful thing to witness.

Someone once said roughly 10% of people are inherently good, 10% of people are inherently evil, and the rest can be swayed in either direction. That seems about right.

I believe that Stephen Miller is pure evil. He must be removed from power as soon as possible.

The mere suggestion that Ukraine should be politically divided in order to achieve peace is nonsense. Thank you for calling it out publicly!!

Rolling Stone was a "useless mainstream music rag" during my 90s punk rock era. Now, they're a bastion of journalism.

How times have changed.

I'm delighted to have their storied banner - and more importantly, the people who write for them - on our side.

The American Republic is transforming into the American Empire at breakneck speed.

Our institutions were never designed to withstand such a blitzkrieg of sedition and treason. They cannot save us now.

We, the People, must band together and fight back.

Americans cannot fight against a fascist takeover through laws, norms, and politics.

We aren't going to survive by cosplaying the British Red Coats during the American Revolution, ffs.

While comparing Trump to Hitler might feel "overplayed" to some people, we've crossed the Rubicon.

Hitler seized power because the Wehrmacht Republic incorrectly believed they could control him and his followers. The Republican Party made the exact same mistake.

The coup is already in progress.

Elon Musk fired a swath of people in the Department of Energy who are critical to maintaining the US nuclear arsenal.

While someone noticed this grievous error and walked it back (afaik), this kind of incurious arrogance leads to international disaster.

But there's one detail that slays me every single time. Look at the musicians in the upper left hand corner. 🤘
