All it would take is for a bunch of these CEOs to confront Trump in front of the world and tell him he's unfit to run a hot-dog stand, and his presidency would be over. Seriously.

But none of them has the balls to do it.

How do we stop this??? Where are Republicans that will stand fearless and save America. We can not survive 3 more years of this. His Greenland fixation and willingness to ruin this nation are frightening. Where is our Margaret Chase Smith? People who still approve are not paying attention.

Dear European Leaders, please do not give in to this madman. Please don't give in to his petty threats. Don't attend his speech or go and after 5 minutes walk out enmass. I did not vote for him and as an American I am deeply embarrassed and ashamed. Please accept my heartfelt apology.

I have a question, have we ever had cabinet members or members of any administration live on military bases for protection?

I don’t see how this country survives until 2029 unless Trump is impeached and removed. This level of lawless malice is not sustainable. What fresh horrors await us this week?

In 2001, terrorists tried to destroy the White House with a hijacked plane. 24 years later, the president of the United States accepted a plane from people funding terrorists and destroyed the White House himself.🔄

These are the Senators who voted to end the Shutdown in exchange for…. um… an empty promise? (Hint: Rs haven’t been great at pinky promises lately)

👏 BUT to all the Democratic senators who held the line - call them tomorrow to thank them!
If Chuck Schumer was a stronger leader, he would have been able to convince most of these senators to hold the line.

I’m terribly disappointed in him.

It’s political suicide with less than a year to midterms. There is no other side of this. It’s self sabotaging. It’s a betrayal. It’s Chamberlain without even a piece of paper in his hand. IF they don’t get a grip, the consequences will be disastrous.

Well, then maybe the Senate Dems know something we don't. I dunno. But this will be seen as a monstrous fail by the base of the party and will not go unpunished.

Some of what is being talked about is much, much WORSE than nothing. They might basically agree to repeal Obamacare by replacing subsidies with funding HSAs/ direct payments to the patient.

Completely insane.

I'm begging my Senators to hold fast. You've nailed the crux - we're going to suffer whether the @democrats.org stay strong or cave in, but staying strong is going to matter so much in the midterms. Caving in screams "why the hell should we bother when you waste our votes in capitulation?"

Catastrophic is the exact right word. Beyond comprehension that Dems could cave now, with all the momentum of Tuesday’s blowout at their backs.

This is why we can't have nice things. People have been conditioned that they can vote for bigotry and cruelty for others while knowing Democrats will always step in to keep them from feeling personal pain. It's time to hold👏🏾the👏🏾line👏🏾 or we'll be right back here in 2 months.

100%. Complete failure by @democrats.senate.gov and @schumer.senate.gov if they cave and get absolutely nothing.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
