I'm at a point where I just suspect collider bias is responsible for everything. Unexpected association? Collider bias. Lost my keys? Collider bias. General sense of creeping existential dread? Collider bias.

Some colleagues I worked with described the first version of any piece of (especially collaborative) writing as the 'sacrificial draft'.

Have you got any great examples of datasets (preferably CC0 or CC-BY) that you think demonstrate some of the key issues with dirty data? I'm interested in teaching how to improve data collection, & about cleaning data once you have it. 📊
