She tried to split the baby this morning by endorsing the idea of tariffs but not the way Trump is doing it. The problem is that it just came off weak. Then he said he likes her, which was even more toxic. The photo of her in the Oval just made everything worse. She got played. Not a good look.

Yeah, just talking about this would’ve earned you a tin foil hat in the 80s, now there’s proof.

I mean, I love Michigan, but I never saw signs like this telling me not to eat certain fish when I was growing up in the South. Maybe they just didn’t tell us.

Justice Connection is a new organization started by a former DOJ official that will mobilize a network of DOJ alumni to support to employees who are under attack.

Participation in America: Political Democracy and Social Equality by Sidney Verba and Norman H. Nie (1972) is the foundational book on American voting behavior. When they say these guys ‘wrote the book’ on it, this is that book! #Civics4All

The American Voter by Angus Campbell, Phillip E. Converse, Warren E. Miller, and Donald E. Stokes (1960) has shaped our understanding of American elections. These guys pioneered researching the psychology of voting by studying party affiliation, social class, and personal values.

I used Keeping the Republic: Power and Citizenship in American Politics (2017) by Christine Barbour and Gerald C. Wright when I taught at the College of Charleston and wrote a blurb for a later edition. You won’t find a better breakdown of government and politics for students. #Civics4All 📚+🇺🇸=💪
