Temujin wears black makeup under his eyes. It serves dual purposes as war paint for aesthetics and eye black to help with sun glare. He's been doing this since he was old enough to hunt. Chulgetei's right eye developed a cataract after a blunt injury in a past Naadam and is functionally blind.

Clementine's scar is from a mishap in their teens in which they and a kid their age, both self taught, were sparring with lances and there was an oopsie. Their eyes are just normal heterochromia; the ourple one is the mutation! Clem sometimes wears eye makeup, usually applied with fingers.
