Clem's name was the result of me tweaking a randomized elezen name (Clementain Roustebant) into something I thought was kinda funny and silly (Clementine Roustebout) bc I genuinely didn't think I'd care about him or really stick with the game all that long. Whoops! By the time I realized that I was
kind of a niche one, but-
1) if your wol(oc) has a "non-lore-compliant" name, what's the story behind it?
2) have you ever thought about changing it?

I made a ffxiv au for some of my original world build ocs (5) just for funnies and in that au they do meet and interact with Clementine in a very silly fetch quest chain. They like him, and he likes them. They share a few meals and swap stories, trade favors, etc, and consider Clem a good friend.

Clementine was born in the Shroud but not in Gridania, he's from a little village in the south. He passes well enough as a local in Gridania but in other lands, he's pretty unmistakable as being from the Shroud, and not just for being a duskwight. He liked his hometown well enough, and while he
