The only thing I can be sure of is that I can't be sure of anything
Either he was afraid of me, or he didn't fancy running through the flooded underpass.

I'm puzzled why so many drivers complain about cycle-infra when they use it at every opportunity. They park on it, they drive on it, they use it for loading & unloading; they're always on it with their vehicles.

Drivers should be shouting for even more cycle-infra so they can use that too.

These are metal bollards embedded in concrete, and that kerb is much higher than a usual kerb.

My guess is that a driver of a HGV was staring at their phone instead of paying attention to their driving.

For those interested, a new floating bus-stop on the S2S north. A narrow cycle-lane is now even narrower.

For those interested, this is the new cycle-lane being built along by Dodder Park.

Random moment with Raven.

Raven contemplating existence.

Or, maybe he's just looking at the wading birds.

Update on this cycle-lane. Last Thursday, someone came to clear the drains, but left all the leaves & rubbish in place in clumps. So when it rained again, all the shores blocked again.

The problem isn't the leaves; it's the sh1tty design & no maintenance.

Me when I hear motorists complaining about traffic being caused by active-travel infra.

Why don't bloody cyclists use the cycle-lanes?

This is the new cycle-lane on E Wall Rd. It's like this all the time. This is a common issue with cycle-lanes all across the city. The drainage here was never adequate. Who audits these projects to check if they're constructed correctly?

To be dogless is to suffer greatly. I pray to Odin's wolves, Freki & Geri, that you may soon be visited by friendly canines to ease your pain.

Meanwhile here's a photo of Raven.

I walked from the top of the canyon down to this point (photo). I wanted to go all the way down, but I was with my niece so I didn't want to tire her out (we we hiking every day).

It was either the 1st or 2nd January 2017. The 1st photo is at dawn on the morning of the blizzard & not a cloud in the sky.

The 2nd photo is on the way down the Grand canyon a few days later. Minus 15C (5F) at night at the top, which is chilly in a tent.

Raven is also 10yrs.
