🔊 Great to see that the two child limit will be scrapped from April 2026!

We, and many, many other organisations and individuals, have been tirelessly campaigning on this issue: meeting with MPs, Mayors, and sharing insight on how the families we support are impacted.
Our voices have been heard!

Scrapping the 2-child limit will be a huge help for hundreds or thousands of families. Really pleased that the Chancellor has listened to the many voices - including @citizensadvice.bsky.social - calling for action here. There’s always more to do, but the #AutumnBudget is an important step forward

Today is #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay, focused on children living in fuel poverty.
Throughout the year we've called for urgent action on child poverty.
Poorly insulated, damp, and energy inefficient homes limit the life chances of millions of children and jeopardise their health ⤵️

🏘️ As we approach the Autumn Budget, the Government needs to ensure that those on the lowest incomes, who cannot afford their rent, are not left behind.
The way to do this is by letting LHA work as it was designed to, and uprating it to the 30th percentile of local rents⤵️
