A former classmate recently told my partner that so long as they could buy their kids favourite brand of mac and cheese at the supermarket for a good price, they didn’t care what else happened in the world. :-/

That’s awful! Hopefully everyone recovers.

… sure, but under the same logic, the company wouldn’t admit to union busting either.

I mean, I don’t expect Katamari to push the limits of a Switch, so do you want to play handheld?

It’s illuminating to see how politicians react when Big Tech is stealing from artists via AI versus when end users steal from artists via digital piracy. It’s not a crime if you are already rich.

Three close calls in 50 years. The ownership that resulted after the last crisis that the OP is referring to seem to have solid business sense and financing, though, so hopefully that was the last time. :-)

By the time lockdown happened Afterlife with Archie had already been in limbo for 5ish years, and I’d gotten used to checking in every few years to see if it was back. I didn’t realize until this week that they never resumed *any* ongoing books after 2020. :-(

Yes, because Harper ordered a phased end to door-to-door, and our systems were switched early. The Liberals campaigned on “saving” door-to-door in 2015, then clarified after that they only meant it for the addresses that hadn’t been converted yet. Sorta like their electoral reform pledge.

I occasionally dip into the ENWorld boards but they are pretty D&D-focused. The last time I had an RPG.net account it was auto-deleted for not posting enough within the first 3/6 months.

The ghost of Norman Osborn hung heavy over this run of Spectacular. By the start of your second run, Norman was back from the dead. While the actual resurrection was decided by others, was it interesting for you to work with that character as a living threat?

I read his Carnage ongoing from 2016 on Marvel Unlimited. He smartly approached it the same way he did the opening issues of Tomb of Dracula, making it about a team of monster hunters hunting the ultimate monster. A little Carnage goes a long way.

One of the bird cultists in Slay the Spire will open combat with “MY POWERS ARE UNMATCHED!” When you beat them, they weakly croak “My powers were matched…”

It would be really nice to rewatch one of Star Trek’s many cautionary tales and be able to say “well thank goodness we got our act together and solved that issue!”

On a related note, did the HC of vol 1 include the essays and interviews? I’ve considered replacing the original books, but I value the back matter. :-)

I’m sorry people are awful. :-(
I know it doesn’t balance it out, but your game designs have brought me a lot of enjoyment over the years.
