Getting the tile sprite sheet ready. Went from 32px hexes up to 64px hexes for better zoom ins on the map. Just need to redo some mountain sprites and should be ready to test.

After much tweaking the winds and rain, got a model which makes me happy. Now onwards to grid conversion and setting biomes!!! Very excite.

Now this one is starting off chaotic and not what I expected. after first successful non-crash run. Wind Direction, Wind Strength and rainfall. Now to fix. Winds should be circling in gyres in ocean bodies for instance.

Last update for today. All done with climate. Two poles on the shown map in various configurations. Any number of poles can be placed, but typically make the world colder the more there are. I have placed up to 10 poles. Good day today. | #indiedev | #gamedev | #godot | #roguelike |

Poles and climate today. Concept= Indicate 1 or more poles whereever you wish in your generated world. Temperatures are adjusted from cold to warm away from pole and squished by multiple poles. Singular northern pole working, working on multi-poles now

Fixes. No more coastal running rivers or river origins on coastlines. But...edge case crash on generation for some seeds (1 out of 10 maybe?). That will take some time. And encountering river loops about the same rate which shouldn't be occuring. | #indiedev | #gamedev | #godot | #roguelike |

For world generation I went in a different direction this week. Finally wrapped up my Fortune's Algorithm build and started down the road of Amit Patel's "Maps through Polygons". Turning out well. Few lil draw errors. Not bad tho. | #indiedev | #gamedev | #roguelike | #godot |
