A recent study from researchers at the University of Alberta and Acadia University show that about 2.3 per cent of people in Canada experience severe #climate anxiety, based on a survey of 2,476 individuals published in Nature Mental Health.

STEM Scientist of the Week: Nergis Mavalvala
Nergis Mavalvala is a queer Pakistani-American astrophysicist, who won the 2014 LGBTQ Scientist of the year. She earned her doctorate in astrophysics at MIT, and later was the first woman to become the Dean of Sciences at MIT in 2020.

Alan Hart was a physician, researcher, and writer who transitioned in 1971. He obtained a masters degree in radiology at the University of Pennsylvania, and became the director of radiology at Tacoma general hospital.
