washable air filters are a thing. just found out a few months ago. bought 4 for $160, to rotate while 2 were being washed. throwaways would've cost $120/yr. given usage guidelines, those 4 filters should last about 10 yrs. solid home investment.

just had to break up a possum fight. they're normally the easiest going, chill critters you could find. these two were stuck clawing each other, and biting their faces. never seen anything like it.

was making a tartar sauce when i realized i didn't have any dill. used mint for that pop of freshness, but mellowed it with herbes de provence, and parsley. adding some lime juice along with the lemon really brightened things up. might just go full lime next time. should be better after a day.
