🌸Two very different flowers Left is a Bee Orchid, it's intricate flowers mimic a female bees to attract the males. Right is Field Bindweed, its common and highly invasive. But in my opinion still one of the most lovely flowers in the hedgerow. 📸

📸Holme Park Fell & Farleton Knott are often seen but rarely climbed fells. If you travelling North, in the UK, by M6 they are the Fells on the right just before the Kendal junction. They are tricky to access but the climber is rewarded with limestone plateaus & wide panoramic views.

The middle gull is a Mediterraan Gull (now a common sight on Southend Seafront). It's slightly bigger than our Black-headed Gulls and it's head is black not chocolate brown! They also do not have black tips to his wings and have splendid red beaks.

A mixed bag of wildlife: Idaea Moth (not sure which!), Silver Y moth, Wild Service-tree (rare indigenous UK tree) and Rainbow Trout.

🌱Red squirrels relaxing in the sun. This is sadly a rare sight in the UK now.
