A very late night update: I've finished getting almost all of the new ribbons in ORAS.
I did all the new contests and just finished the most ass-clenching battle maison run ever for its two ribbons (hence why i'm up so late)
All thats left is the hoenn champ ribbon which i'll do in the morning

Update time: i've finished the Kalos portion of generation 6. There really wasn't much to it, ORAS takes the bulk of the ribbons for this gen tbh

I also went ahead and got a couple other things like the Pokeathlon medals and the shiny crown
So I guess its time to move onto gen 5 now :)

Update on the ribbon quest
I've gotten all 36 ribbons in gen 4 that I can get with a single copy of Pearl!
Now i'm waiting for my copy of Soulsilver to come in so I can play through it and get the last 3 ribbons
Really fun journey so far, and once soulsilver comes in the progress will be nonstop
