I spent my entire life thinking so many of these symptoms were normal. If you or someone you know is dealing with issues like these, I highly suggest giving this thread a read! Getting diagnosed was the first step to me finally getting answers for my health and general wellbeing.
It's EDS + HSD awareness month! This condition is super under-diagnosed but is often connected to any condition related to your body's collagen, including digestion issues, eyesight problems, heart problems, neurodivergence, chronic pain, etc. Here's a thread on screening yourself for hEDS ⬇️

Met with pain management Friday after an MRI on Wednesday.
Doctor says that I will need bilateral spinal injections at my L5-S1 to help with the pain I get while sitting and standing.

Loss of independence. Of friends & family who can’t accept that you’re not “getting better”.
Loss of the comfort that comes from believing the medical system will help you when you need it.
Loss of autonomy & hope for the future.
