Five weeks old today. Such big babies! We finished the run over the weekend, so they moved into the tent brooder inside the run a couple of days ago. Coop should be ready for them by the end of this weekend. #backyardchickens #chickensofbluesky

Day 4 enrichment, cardboard tubes. The welbar cockrels are always the first to try the new toys. It's impressive how quickly their balance improves!

Day 2 enrichment! They had lots of fun climbing and pecking on a cork trivet. Supervised to be sure they didn't manage to eat any. They also had a small wooden cutting board where I sprinkled feed. #backyardchickens #chickensofbluesky
