Researching open source & privacy-focused platforms to shift my personal use away from Silicon Valley tech monopolies (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta) to companies more aligned w/my values. Kicking myself for not doing this sooner! What I’m finding out there is exciting. Sometimes, it takes a coup.

Spent lunch yesterday on a fruitless quest thru Midtown’s many corp chain pharmacies, scouring yards of locked product cases, trying to re-up on my husband’s preferred, obscure, imported brand of English throat lozenge. Found at our local Brooklyn mom & pop. Real peak mid-aughts hipster shit.
