Hard to believe it’s been 21 years since my fondest wish came true. A simpler time when i had the luxury of devoting my wishes on baseball. #redsox2004

The return of Brad Marchand to the garden and the emotional tribute from Bruins fans was one of those quintessential Boston sports moments that define what it is to be a Boston sports fan. Up there with Big Papi’s f-bomb and Larry bird’s 33 banner getting raised

I’d encourage all to discover and watch the UN speech by Slovenia President Nataša Pirc Musar. Powerful. Inspiring. Sobering. #UNGA

Read a Jodi Picoult book for a recent book club, which evolved into a “what’s your favorite by her”. So based on that recommendation, i borrowed “Wish you Were Here”. My new favorite read of 2025. 📚💙. Take a trip back five years to the fears and frustrations of COVID.

Spending a lot of time today thinking about 20 years ago in Charleston. The shock has worn off but the horror has not. Remembering. The nine #motheremanuel victims deserved so much better than the hate that took them from us.

Couldn’t help feeling proud of my fellow Boomers today.

How long before the Spelling Bee draws administration attention. They can spell more than DEI

Since my 7th birthday when MLK was killed, I’ve been oddly obsessed with its significance. April 4 may now be known as the day the depression started.

Definitely not good for my scrambled brain to be watching both #Severance and #WhiteLotus at the same time

Anybody else gasp at that “OMG, it’s Robby Benson” on Severance? On top of everything else, the best casting of a series

Why did it take a disturbed 26-year-old with a ghost gun to spark the conversation about healthcare that a $16B election ignored?

In the rage against the medical machine, we can see what angry voters aren't getting from 2 broken political parties. My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/luig...

Does the rage against corporate America unleashed by a CEO's assassination also show a way forward for our broken politics?

I wish Warren Zevon were alive to write a song called “Busted At A McDonald’s In Altoona.”

I don’t like what it says about me that I’m finding coverage of a murder of a CEO in New York and potential devastation of a tsunami refreshing.

Probably not ideal that I’ve OD’d on Hallmark Christmas movies before Thanksgiving

Same.
What I wouldn’t give to have McBride as my Rep instead of Mace 😩
To grab the limelight, Nancy Mace has targeted Sarah McBride, the nation’s first elected trans House member. The vitriol from Mace has been contemptible.

This is in sharp contrast with McBride, who has acted commendably and with grace. And ironically, McBride now has high national visibility.

So proud to be represented by Nancy Mace. Does this thing have a sarcasm emoji?

Floored by how quickly I’m approaching 100 followers. Feeling pressure to post something but as a journalist I’m careful to not express a political opinion but tough to think about anything else. How bout them Celtics?
