I’m so utterly repulsed and disgusted by the president and his lackeys. In my take on the Klingon tradition I say they are without honor and challenge them to a dance battle for the leadership of the country. They may choose the song. I’m sure it will be god awful and without soul.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

I decided to be brave and I wrote up a new policy for democratic fundraising based on the campaign of @katmabu.bsky.social and I'm pushing it at my local Democratic town committee. I have no idea if it will go anywhere but I'm calling it the Heater Model.

While we are out here protesting federal monstering, this is a reminder that we still have a lot of work to do at the local level. We deserve police that are brave and confident enough to be calm when things get tense.
MSNBC reporter on ground in LA right now saying that from what he has seen the protestors have been peaceful but the LA Sheriff’s Dept in particular has been off the chain, quick to use tear gas and rubber bullets in an exceedingly aggressive manner

At the protest in Hyannis today someone leaned out of their car to give protesters these lovely pink flowers. When the cops approached they were given flowers and the police accepted and put it behind their ear while suggesting that this wasn’t super safe. This is the new policing standard #NoKings

I think blue states need to consider defunding their national guards. We are just subsidizing a tool to be used against us.
