That nursing is a vocation. I think I’ll scream at the next person who says that. It’s not a vocation, it’s a highly skilled profession, and language like that is used to justify low pay. #NurseSky

A lot of nurse work is hidden—like spotting problems early, managing safety, and coordinating care. Thats why education is so important! It gives us the skills and knowledge to handle complex tasks, make informed decisions, and show that we’re more than just caregivers—we’re professionals #nursesky

It will never be the receptionists job to triage how important your appointment need is. They will take the information from you, (as they have been asked to do by the GPs), and then someone with medical training will triage this for you. If you don't want to talk to them, fill in an online form.
