I believe someone figured out FFXIV is only being hit by coincidence as it shares a network with AT&T which is being targeted by a ransomware group. This would explain why the DDOS barely seems to hit FFXIV at peak times, only early morning and late evening in NA.

It runs fine on Switch 1 and 2 (I've watched a friend with a capture card play) but at the cost of a VERY primitive presentation. Some environments are literally NPCs standing around in flat, decoration-less geometric courtyards. Aggressive culling leads to very obvious pop-in constantly, as well.
