Irish. Music-y code-y fella.
Hi Mark,

My Da was diagnosed with cancer last year. He had two surgeries, thankfully no chemo or radio. All was provided plus aftercare, total cost to him was 0. I paid for some of it through my taxes, which also paid for other peoples surgeries that I didn't need. This system is called the NHS.

Ah! I've seen your band name in the local gig guide (nice pun BTW 😀). Will keep an eye out for you.

Lovely. It's been a bit since I've been in there, but it was always a great gigging venue. Are your band local to Shropshire?

Nice! That venue looks familiar too, is it The New Inn by any chance?

It's unlikely that his namesake Charles I ever skateboarded in his youth, but he did do one very famous faceplant.

I recently looked at some folk songs about WW1, one about an underage enlist, the other a (famous) song about Anzac at Gallipoli. I'm Irish so I don't tend to wear a poppy. It's striking how WW1 cuts so deep into the psyche. And as long as stories are told and songs are sung, they are not forgotten.

Please have your Gronda Gronda at hand before you cross the border.

I think I was in the very same establishment a few weeks ago, which is a bit out of town, so you have to drive there to experience it. I believe to Michelin that means it's two stars?

"You know the sound the TARDIS makes? That groaning, plopping?"

"I wouldn't go in there for a couple of regenerations if I were you."
