I totally agree, you play to win the game. Also, not self-respecting athlete wants to come out, regardless of the score.
But you have to be able to know when it's time to pack it in. We empty the benches in basketball when it's over, too.

It's a balancing act for sure. If I'm a HC (which I'm not), I'm taking all of those aforementioned points, plus the fact that RG3's legs weren't all that long ago into consideration. You don't want to be the guy that destroys yet another Washington QB.

Jayden Daniels was the OROY last year. Does he still need development? Yes. Does that need to happen during a blowout in November? No.
