Bitch, what I see is someone who's never spent five seconds in the larger AvP fandom. This isn't anything new, women have had the hots for preds since the 80's. Hell, haven't you seen the set photos from Predator 2 of the crew member hanging off of Guardian's arm?

I add the new tank decor, and Ovaltini takes immediate interest... But Specter pops her head out from under the yautja mask to watch me put her new decor in, and once I'm done and close her lid back up, she's just like "nah," and pulls back in under the mask.

Changed out Specter and Ovaltini's substrates so now they're both on a roughly 30-70 sand-soil mix. (By volume, eyeballed so not super precise.) Getting them each a new cage decoration tomorrow... Shame I can't house 'em together again and combine their decor. But I don't need 'em breeding again.

The way I do tokens for the Alien RPG, I color code the frames by classification, by the way. Though if an android is pretending to be human and can pass for it, I have two versions of their token.

But hey, the rhynth and briar wolf tokens came out okay. (Using the brown briar wolf from AvP: Duel instead of the green one from Aliens vs Predator because of resolution concerns and obstruction from the green one's kennel.)

I did find, however, through height charting bullshit... That if that human in the background is 5'8", American average, then that rhynth is 7'3". If the rhynth next to the jack lizards is the same size, the defensive posture is about 1'6". Snout to vent length, 1'7". Total length, 2'3". Cattish.

Unfortunate, these comic scans I have of the original Aliens vs Predator, in its original colors, are too low a resolution to get shots of the Ryushi jack lizards that can be used for creature tokens. They'll be another one that'll have to be commissioned if I ever run a Ryushi game.

So I'm working on my Alien RPG "base game" in Foundry again. Not sure when/if I'll switch over to the Evolved Edition. But I can't decide if I wanna make small creatures sized like this facehugger for visibility, or this "foul flocker" for emphasis on size and the fact it allows for 4 per space.

Well, for characters with red outfit themes like Pon or my own little mouse, I am inclined to be like "how about saucifying an old timey devil girl costume with the little horned hood and some hair poking out from under it?"

Since it's a military vehicle, and a flying vehicle, by convention it'd be a Decepticon. But I'm good with whatever. Maybe there could also be a yautja ship. Going with the classic space whaley lookin' design, maybe it'd be a Shockwave?

For my grievances against Trachtenberg's obsession with making what has to be different species of preds and calling it intra-species diversity, Feral's here to stay and I've accepted that. And this Killer of Killers concept art does a great job showing how to translate his kind's design to art.

Oh, great, Trump's hijacked Social Security itself to send out mass e-mail propaganda to trick the politically disengaged into thinking his bullshit bill was a boon for us, instead of the oncoming threat set to start stripping those of us on SS/SSDI of benefits the month after the mid-term elections

I have Opinions about AvP and stories like Aliens: Labyrinth, and how the fandom at large basically never considers that we might sometimes have unreliable narrators. Like Professor Church, pathological liar who excelled at turning Crespi's opinion on a dime.

Curses. I finally found a Legacy Tarn and he's got faulty turret-back-antenna-things. His left one is a duplicate of his right, so it can't tab into place like it's supposed to.

I do find it kinda funny that in Predator: Killer of Killers they decided to give all the preds more teeth and turn the back of their mouths into black voids instead of showing their infamous "pussy face." Like some dweeb thought that shit wasn't cool enough, or the censors didn't like their throat.

Arcturians have also had their rough appearance worked out with the help of @bittenagain.bsky.social, based on their description in the ARPG and what we know about human attraction to them from Aliens. But this one's a teacher NPC who left Arcturus for a home game.

I have a few lofty goals... Finish up setting and game system stuff for A Fairy's Tail to run it with some friends. Trim my weight back down to 20's-levels. Live to my mid-40's. But one of the most lofty might be to get tokens and eventually art for my whole Alien RPG bestiary.
