I really appreciate your pointing out that our emissions are causing the climate to depart from the unusually steady period that allowed human civilization to develop. This is the timescale that is important, and it is the right response to the argument that “The climate always changes.”

The rainy season in LA is from November to April when it gets an average of 12 inches of rain. January is LA’s rainiest month. The last rainfall in LA was 0.13” on May 5. As we watch the horrible images of the LA fires, a climate change denier is about to take office as our next president.

I have serious issues with the saying, “Winning is everything.” But when it comes to the very survival of America’s 248-year-old democracy, yeah, it is.

I think Jake Tapper’s interview with Romney this morning was worth watching.

I just watched the interview and thought you made excellent points. Thanks for everything you’re doing and good luck in winning the vote.

Fauci made some mistakes in my opinion. I think, for example, that he and the CDC should have determined sooner that COVID spread primarily as an airborne virus. But I believe he has high integrity and always acted in what he believed was in the best interest of the public.
