Autocracy: government by 1 person with absolute power

Oligarchy: a small group of people having control of a country

Kakistocracy: government by the least suitable or competent citizens

Kleptocracy: government by those who seek chiefly status & personal gain at the expense of the governed

Agree 100%
Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Perhaps that’s true. While some government regulations may perceive to be somewhat onerous, rolling back many regulations has the impact of being less ethical and safe for the public at large. Is this what we really want?
When businesses talk about ending government “overreach” they’re usually talking about screwing their customers over
Delta’s CEO says Trump has promised to roll back a rule requiring automatic refunds on canceled flights and another requiring airlines to disclose the full cost of a ticket up front

Well, I know this is probably controversial, but, I can’t say that I blame them for deleting it. Personally, I think the lawsuit is stupid. When content is published on the Internet, I believe that content can be used for training purposes. Actually, I think it should be used for training.

In my work as an ethic speaker in author, I have interview close to 1000 people in the GenZ group and found it totally fascinating. That mainstream media is irrelevant to them. The concept of being a journalist seems to be lost versus being a personality and influencer on social media.

Interesting yet not surprising! Unpredictable times
Striking detail buried in this NYTimes story:
Trump's team "plans to stop issuing citizenship-affirming documents, like passports and Social Security cards, to infants born on domestic soil to undocumented migrant parents in a bid to end birthright citizenship."

I will never understand how a billionaire, the richest man on Earth, spent millions to buy an election for ANOTHER billionaire, and told us that his policies would cause all of us non-billionaires “temporary hardship...”

...and the public didn't tell BOTH OF THEM to fuck off.

And as an ethic speaker in author, unless something dramatic has changed, President-elect Donald Trump is holding up the presidential transition process by refusing to provide the legally required ethics pledge. Do you think he will eventually sign or ignore?
