I proposed to Alyssa today and she said yes! Shout out to @itshugosnook.bsky.social for designing this fantastic Wingspan parody! It’s her favorite board game, and I MAY have lied and told her I was expecting a review copy for a new expansion in the mail. She doesn’t seem too mad about it.
This is the main reason why huge companies going out of their way to make AI generated stuff is so weird to me. Even if I was pro AI art, the whole point is that anyone can easily generate it. You spent millions of dollars for trained artists to make a beautiful game; why also sell the shortcut?
My logic is, if you can't be bothered to make an asset yourself why should I be bothered to care about it/collect it 🤷
Activision says it uses AI tools in Call of Duty to "empower and support" developers.

Hotel had a “gratitude tree” so I put Toaster’s name up there. Really looking forward to all the people who don’t know it’s my dog’s name (99% of people) thinking someone’s really into kitchen appliances.

People that do remote play or cloud gaming: are you able to reduce lag enough that it’s something you don’t notice, or are you just able to adapt and ignore it? I want to be able to use my PlayStation Portal more often but the input lag just drives me nuts, especially with twitchier games

I revealed this during the GI Show this week and @itsvanaken.games and I had a hard time explaining Yung Gravy’s vibe to @marcusstewart7.bsky.social, who had never heard of him. The closest Alex got is “he’s a rapper who likes older women”

My most played game from the 3DS to Switch 2 is Pokémon Y! (This is because I used to slide a credit card under the circle pad and have my trainer ride around a circle in Lumiose City to get my Pokémon in the day care up to level 100)

Bren is one of my closest friends and it hurts so much to see his amazing wife Jen having such a hard battle with Myasthenia Gravis (MG). Please donate if you can spare anything -- MG is a very under-researched disease and finding proper care is hard.
Jen has been in the hospital most of October. These hospital stays and the recovery are the most challenging her Myasthenia Gravis has ever been.

Added American cheese to my mac and cheese sauce today and I’m furious how much of a textural difference it made. Avoided trying it for so long and now I just can’t go back.
