I had an Olivetti electric typewriter from the mid 70’s until my first PC with a printer. A lot less expensive and just as good as an IBM Selectric except it didn’t have the self correct backspace button IBM had.

I was a Rangers fan during the "Broad Street Bullies" years. Here's what I remember most. Bill Barber would have at lest one "flop" giving the Flyers a power play. Bobbie Clark would at least instigate one fight which was fought by Dave Shultz. Finally, I always wanted Rick MacLeish on my team!

The headline has the quotes on the wrong word. It should have been, "A million "new" Epstein docs are found", emphasizing "new" as most likely they weren't.

McCarthy and Trump have a lot in common. The "tailgunner Joe" persona, allegedly from McCarthy's involvement in WWII, was a marketing fraud used to get votes for his Senate bid. www.npr.org/transcripts/...
'We've Got To Learn From Our History,' 'Demagogue' Author Warns
Author Larry Tye chronicles Sen. Joseph McCarthy's infamous smear campaign in a new book. He says both McCarthy and Trump are "bullies" who exploit fears and "point fingers when they're attacked."

I'm reading the cattle supply is low and the plant is operating at less than half capacity. A suspected reason for the low cattle herd is since 2020 there's been a drought in Nebraska. Didn't I hear someone in Washington has claimed global warming is a hoax? holtindependent.com/content/page...
Drought Tightens Grip On Nebraska
As of April 8, 2025, approximately 76% (58492 square miles) of Nebraska is under drought conditions and 22% (16716 square miles) is abnormally dry.

My father served on a battleship during the Korean War. Since "our dear leader" just invented the name of this warship, was my father's ship invisible like Wonder Woman's? Who new I was related to a superhero!

I'm absolutely shocked, shocked, the DOJ would do the absurd instead of admitting defeat of the administration's revenge tour. Shocked.
